Ben Langdon Covered Europe, Middle East and Africa

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- A regional director for McCann-Erickson Worldwide, part of Interpublic Group of Cos., is leaving the company.

In a statement, McCann said Ben Langdon, regional director of Europe, Middle East and Africa, is leaving "to pursue other opportunities."

There are currently no plans to fill the position. David Warden, a McCann veteran who has held senior positions at McCann in the agencies London and New York offices, will assume Mr. Langdon's responsibilities. Mr. Warden was recently promoted to the new position of regional director of operations.

Mr. Langdon, 39, was promoted to his post in September 2001 after serving as regional director of media services network Universal McCann, Europe, and chairman-CEO of McCann, London, and the McCann U.K. and Ireland Group. Mr. Langdon joined McCann in 1996 as CEO of the London office.
