Matt Seiler Had Oversight of Omnicom's Pepsi Business

NEW YORK ( -- Omnicom Group's PHD, an advertising media buying and planning agency, has named a president for its U.S. operations.

Matt Seiler, an Omnicom executive vice president and chief insight and integration officer with oversight of the PepsiCo ad business, has been named to the post.

Mr. Seiler, 42, will report to PHD North America CEO Steve Grubbs. He will oversee PHD's New York, Chicago, St. Louis and San Francisco offices. The position had not previously been occupied.

Some accounts at the agency are from DaimlerChrysler, Gap Inc. and Energizer Holdings.

Mr. Seiler joined Omnicom in 2001 and led integration efforts within the holding company. Prior to that, he was director of strategic planning at the New York office of BBDO Worldwide from 1996 to 2000.

An Omnicom spokeswoman said no successor has been named.
