Drew Slaven Has Been With Automaker Since 2002

DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Mercedes-Benz, which has had a revolving door of marketers and has trimmed staff under former VP-Marketing Mark McNabb, will announce tomorrow it promoted Drew Slaven, 40, to general manager-marketing services.

The slot had been vacant since Scott Keogh bolted for Audi in May 06.

Mr. Slaven joined Mercedes in 2002 and had been department manager- marketing communications. He'll report to Steve Cannon, who returned to the automaker about a month ago as VP-marketing.
