NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Mike Segrue, global chief client officer at Kinetic Worldwide, is departing the out-of-home communications agency.
Mr. Segrue, a founder of Kinetic when it launched in 2005, will remain a shareholder until the completion of the sale of the company to WPP at the end of 2009.
"The Kinetic experience has been a most enjoyable and successful one," said Mr. Segrue. "We have changed the perception and actuality of what Kinetic is -- we are now a lifestyle and environment media agency."
Eric Newnham, global CEO of Kinetic Worldwide, commented: "Mike's contribution and support over the last few years, and indeed pre-dating the formation of Kinetic Worldwide, have been invaluable."
Kinetic is 50% owned by the Kinetic management team and 50% owned by WPP. The agency has global billings of $4.4 billion, with clients including MillerCoors, Tommy Hilfiger and The Economist.
