OgilvyOne Asia-Pacific Names Jerry Smith Regional President

OgilvyOne Asia-Pacific has appointed Jerry Smith its new regional president, based in Hong Kong. In his new role, Mr. Smith will oversee the OgilvyOne operations in 12 local markets across the region. Mr. Smith is a longtime Ogilvy Asia veteran, having previously worked as chief operating officer of OgilvyOne Asia and more recently as president of Ogilvy's Red Works operations.

Revolution has added marketing veteran Bob Lachky to its senior advisory team. Prior to joining the sports marketing and media-serving agency, Mr. Lachky was exec VP-global industry development and chief creative officer for Anheuser-Busch. During his tenure there, he helped create iconic advertising campaigns such as "Wassup?!," the Budweiser frogs and the "Real Men of Genius" radio campaign.

Denny's Corp. has named Frances Allen to the position of CMO and exec VP. Ms. Allen brings nearly 25 years of restaurant and retail experience to Denny's, including several leadership positions with Pepsi-Cola, Sony Ericsson and Frito-Lay. From 2007 to 2009, she served as CMO of Dunkin' Brands, where she executed several extensive marketing efforts, including the "DDSmart" healthier menu its "oven-toasted" cooking platform.

The Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau (CAB) has hired David Woolfson as senior VP-research and insights. Mr. Woolfson spent significant portions of his career at Nielsen, Turner Broadcasting and Univision before establishing the consultancy David Woolfson LLC. In his new role of heading up CAB research efforts, Mr. Woolfson will be championing progress in audience measurement for both the cable systems and cable networks, as well as calling directly on advertisers and agencies to advance their knowledge base of consumer behavior.

Brian Quinn has been named chief revenue officer of Triad Digital Media. Most recently, he served as VP-general manager of digital ad sales for The Wall Street Journal. Mr. Quinn has also held executive sales positions at Advertising Age, Real Media and CBS MarketWatch. In addition, he founded 212, New York's Interactive Advertising Club, which now has more than 5,000 members.

Dean Harris has been appointed CMO of BlueCava, "the credit bureau for devices." Mr. Harris has previously served as senior VP-marketing at Hot Jobs, CMO at Kayak and chief brand officer at Vonage, for which he earned an Effie award for advertising effectiveness in 2006.
