Lotta Malm Hallqvist has been named Cheil Worldwide's first global chief growth officer. Based in London, she will lead Cheil's international growth and new business drive. Previously, she was executive vice president and global chief growth officer at McCann Worldgroup. The new role is part of Chiel's effort to boost global growth and business development.
Ogilvy & Mather has appointed Heather Alderson to the new role of Head of Planning Unilever Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather Group UK. Based in London, she will head up the planning function for Unilever, with a core focus on Dove. Most recently, Ms. Alderson served as commercial strategy director and managing partner at BBH where she led a portfolio of clients including Diageo and British Airways.
Jack Rotherham has been appointed to the new role of chief marketing officer at FreeWheel. He will lead the effort to take the company to the next level by advancing FreeWheel's message for the industry, its sales efforts and product positioning. Previously, Mr. Rotherham served as general manager-advertising at RichRelevance where he was responsible for leading and scaling advertising brand and agency partnerships.
Believe Entertainment Group (BE) has named Evan Fleischer as executive VP-brand partnerships and business development as well as Shane McGrath as executive VP-ad sales. In his new role, Mr. Fleischer will lead the company's key brand partnerships and distribution execution. Previously, he served as VP-integrated marketing and branded entertainment for Sundance TV. In Mr. McGrath's newly created role, he will lead the firm's core sales team while overseeing all of sales and distribution. Before joining BE, he was a partner at The C4 Group.
Mike Amour is joining Starcom MediaVest Group as President, APAC and Iain Jacob is expanding his current oversight to become president, EMEA. These hires come as part of the company's change in global management organizational structure into five regions: APAC, EMEA, LATAM, North America and North Asia. Matt Blackborn, previously president-emerging markets, is taking on the new role of president-global investment & diversification. KSW has also announced the signing of its first global client, Sophisticated Rebel. Most recently, Mr. Kluger was managing director of Knoodle PR, a division of Knoodle Advertising. Mr. Snyder is the founding partner of Focus Content, a content creation company with global experience in advertising, branding and concept. Previously, Ms. Wagner served as the executive producer for Clairol, Covergirl, Max Factor, Allergan and GSK Brands at Grey Global Group.
