BuzzMedia has hired Stephen Hansen as president. Mr. Hansen previously served as president and chief operating officer of TrueCar, where he managed technology, product development, business intelligence, strategy and administration. He got his start at auditing firm KPMG, where he ascended to partner before leaving to serve as a senior VP at Universal Studios. Mr. Hansen joined GeoCities as chief operating officer in 1997, where he oversaw the online community through its IPO and subsequent $5 billion sale to Yahoo. He is also founder of online community WePlay, a joint venture between Creative Artists Agency and Major League Baseball to promote active, healthy lifestyles for kids through sports.
Ari Bluman has been named to the new position of chief digital investment officer for GroupM North America. Mr. Bluman joins GroupM from Real Media Group, a business unit of 24/7 Media, which he joined in 1997 and has served as North American president of since 2008. Like GroupM, 24/7 Media is a WPP company.
Social-media marketing agency M80, also a GroupM company, has promoted Joe Quattrone to VP, New York. He joined the agency in 2010 as a senior account director, where he was tasked with running multiple brands in industries ranging from automotive, finance and consumer electronics to health care. In 2011, he was appointed the lead on the Audi account, and he and his team created the #WantAnR8 campaign, the most successful Twitter marketing campaign of all time, according to Twitter. Prior to joining M80, he worked at Venables Bell & Partners as an account manager on the Audi business.
Lapiz, the Hispanic marketing agency of Leo Burnett, has hired Gustavo Razzetti as exec VP-managing director. Mr. Razzetti comes to Lapiz from Grupo Gallegos in Los Angeles, where he served as chief strategy and engagement Officer. Prior to Grupo, he was CEO of BETC-Euro-RSCG' class='directory_entry' title='Ad Age LookBook'>Euro RSCG Latino in New York City and president of multicultural agency, GlobalHue Latino. He founded one the first digital agencies in Argentina, WhyNet, which was later acquired by Euro RSCG, and has worked with clients such as Subway, Verizon, Clorox, Valvoline, DirecTV and Merck.
MSG Entertainment has tapped Robin Korn as exec VP-strategic marketing. In this role, she will oversee the engagement marketing group, among other brand development and management duties.
Ms. Korn is a twenty-three year veteran of American Express, where she held positions of increasing responsibility, focusing on marketing, product/business development, and general management within the U.S. consumer and small-business card groups and American Express financial advisors business unit.
Lorey Zlotnick has been appointed senior VP-marketing at Outdoor Channel. Ms. Zlotnick was previously senior VP-marketing and on-air promotion for Fox Sports Media Group's Fuel TV, where she was influential in expanding the action-sports network's audience base. Prior to joining Fuel, she held the position of senior VP-marketing and on-air promotion for the Fox Reality Channel.
