People on the Move: Mary Carpenter to Lead PHD Midwest

PHD Worldwide has named Mary Carpenter president of PHD Midwest. Ms. Carpenter joins PHD from WPPs Mindshare, where she was managing partner, performance marketing. Prior to that, Ms. Carpenter oversaw the 150-person Chicago office of Mindshare.

McCann Worldgroup appointed Jon Carney as chief digital officer, McCann Worldgroup Europe. Mr. Carney joins from Somewhat where he served as co-founder and managing partner. In 2002, Mr. Carney launched Marvellous, an international mobile marketing agency that was acquired by Aegis five years later.

3Headed Monster named Crystal Anderson to the newly-formed position of partner-strategy director. Ms. Anderson joins 3HM from SapientNitro in Atlanta where she was director-marketing strategy and analysis. Previously, she worked DDB New York, BBDO Chicago, Uproar and Publicis Dallas.

Nick Moore joined Roar as executive creative director. Mr. Moore previously held the chief creative officer position at Wunderman New York. Prior to that, he worked as creative director for TBWA GGT and Proximity London.

Performics tapped Scott Shamberg as president of Performics U.S. Most recently, Mr. Shamberg served as managing director at Omnicom's TPN retail marketing agency. Prior to TPN, he was a founding member at Marqeta, a card and mobile payments startup. He also spent eight years at Omnicom's Critical Mass as general manager and senior VP-marketing and media.
