Celia Jones was named director of marketing at interactive shop Critical Mass, Chicago. She joins the Omnicom Group property from Design Kitchen, Chicago, where she was director of content and lead copywriter.

Interpublic Group of Cos.' Mullen, Detroit, elevated Andrew Bacheller to VP-account director. Mr. Bacheller, who's been with the shop for 11 years, currently works on General Motors Certified Used Vehicles business.

John Costello, a former exec VP-merchandising and marketing at Home Depot, was named president-CEO-director of Zounds, a hearing-aid manufacturer based in Mesa, Ariz. Mr. Costello left Home Depot in 2005 after a three-year stint with the retailer, where he was exec VP of merchandising and marketing, and was most recently vice chairman of biometric-payment company Pay by Touch.

Turner Entertainment Group promoted Jonathan Katz to senior VP-general manager of program planning and acquisitions. In his new role, Mr. Katz will also oversee Peachtree TV, a local broadcast platform Turner is set to roll out Oct. 1.

Production house BermanBraun, Los Angeles, brought on Yahoo veteran Mike Weetman as chief operations officer. Mr. Weetman was most recently chief financial officer for Yahoo's network division.

Neal Ryan was boosted to exec director-advertising business development at Catalina Marketing, St. Petersburg, Fla. He's been senior director-business development at the shop since 2006.
