Meredith Fierman Smith joined Atlanta-based Weather Channel as VP-climate strategic marketing. She'll be responsible for developing environmental strategy for the network. Previously, she was director of marketing communications at Premier Retail Networks, San Francisco.

Interactive shop Avenue A/ Razorfish made a pair of executive moves, appointing Malcolm MacGregor VP-web development at its Seattle office and promoting Patrick Hounsell to VP-general manager of digital media marketing at its Chicago outpost.

John Trimble, formerly senior VP-ad sales for Fox Interactive Media, joined Glam Media, New York, as exec VP-sales.

Havas' Euro RSCG, New York, named Robert Kleman, 31, executive creative director and Jason Levine, 32, creative director. Mr. Kleman has spent the past two years as associate creative director at TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York. Mr. Levine was senior VP-creative director at Publicis.

Magazine publisher Parenting Group named Nancy Hallberg chief strategy officer. She served as group VP-marketing at the company from 2004 to 2006 before leaving to become Conde Nast's director of custom research for online and consumer marketing.
