Debra J. Menin Takes on New Role at Parade

Parade magazine shifted Debra J. Menin to the role of VP-branded entertainment. Ms. Menin, based in Los Angeles, was previously the publication's VP-national entertainment director.

Michelle Cervantez, who served as chief marketer at Hyundai from August 2005 to October 2006, became chief marketing officer of Jacuzzi Brands Corp., Chino, Calif. Before working at Hyundai, she was a top marketing exec at Mercedes-Benz and was one of Ad Age's Women to Watch in 2003.

Experiential-marketing agency Jack Morton Worldwide, Chicago, named Larry Deutsch managing director. He was previously managing director of OgilvyAction's Chicago office.

Nijole S. Yutkowitz was boosted to the newly created position of VP-group advertising director of Ebony and Jet magazines at Johnson Publishing Co., Chicago. She was formerly associate Midwest advertising manager for Jet.

Julie Levin was appointed account managing director at independent McGarryBowen, New York, and will handle the agency's Kraft business. Ms. Levin previously was senior VP-senior account director at Omnicom Group's BBDO on the Venus/Gillette Proctor & Gamble account.

DraftFCB, Orange County, Calif., upped Chris D'Amico, formerly senior VP-group creative director on the Taco Bell account, to chief creative officer, reporting to Tom O'Keefe, executive creative director for Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle and Orange County. Mr. D'Amico will continue to oversee Taco Bell creative for the Interpublic shop.

BBC Worldwide America, New York, tapped Mark Gall as senior VP-BBC America and BBC digital-media sales as the TV network brings ad sales in-house for the first time. Mr. Gall had been a senior VP at the Weather Channel since 2003.
