Scripps Networks has promoted three executives. Freddy James joins HGTV.com as VP-site director, moving over from DIY Network, where he was VP-programming. Andy Singer, VP-original programming at HGTV, has been named VP-programming at DIY Network. And HGTV's Laura Sillars has been upped to VP-original programming from director.

Independent video site Heavy has hired Richard Rocca as VP-business development. Mr. Rocca was formerly senior director for Glam Media.

Comcast Spotlight, the ad-sales division of Comcast Cable, has promoted four senior executives: Steve Feingold to senior VP-operations and strategic planning, Vicki Lins to senior VP-marketing and communications, Paul Woidke to senior VP-technology and Kevin Cuddihy to senior VP-ad sales.

Former McGarryBowen music executive Rob Kaplan has been appointed senior VP-global marketing at Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Mr. Kaplan was the New York ad agency's director of music production.

Susan Klein has joined the law firm Morrison & Foerster as chief marketing officer. She most recently was CMO of the consumer-lending group at Citibank and has held strategic-marketing, branding and communications positions at Bank of America, Charles Schwab, MasterCard International and Morgan Stanley.

Independent agency Barkley has hired Adam Herman as senior VP-director of media services. He was most recently VP-director of media at Digitas, New York.

Queen of the gamers
Kelley Corten has been named publisher of Official Xbox Magazine and Nintendo Power magazine at Future US. Ms. Corten was previously group publisher for the computing and photography portfolio at Future Publishing in the U.K.

Zizzo Group Advertising and Public Relations has named Michelle Sieg its VP-creative director. She was promoted from her position as associate creative director.
