Comcast Entertainment Group appointed David A. Palmer to senior VP-brand development and talent alliances. Prior to joining Comcast, he served as head of the experiential marketing and strategic alliance group at Saatchi and Saatchi/ Team One.

Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, announced three executive promotions: Lucette Mercer was promoted from senior director-research to VP-sales research; Adam LaRose expanded his role from VP-operations to VP-technology and operations; and Rob Klippel was elevated from VP-operations to VP-technical operations and advanced advertising trials.

Brett Weitz joined TNT as VP-series development. He previously served as VP-creative affairs for the fox21 Studios division of 20th Century Fox Television.

USA Weekend magazine promoted Sonia David to VP-market development. She served as marketing director of USA Weekend for eight years.

Nielsen-IAG named Richard E. Khaleel exec VP-financial services. He was most recently exec VP-CMO at the Bank of New York.

Mike Vorhaus was promoted to president-Magid Advisors at research-based consulting firm Frank N. Magid Associates. He previously served as senior VP and managing director-new media and strategy.

MSG Entertainment expanded its executive team, naming Melissa Miller Ormond chief operating officer; Andrea Greenberg as exec VP; Don Simpson to senior VP-business development; Lee Weinberg as senior VP-business and strategic planning; and Bob Shea as senior VP-regional bookings and special projects.
