CARSON, CALIF.: Dale Ishimoto (l.), the mystical "Mr. K" in Nissan advertising, was all smiles when he met Yutaka Katayama, the former Nissan Motor Corp. executive who was the inspiration for the Mr. K character. The two met for the first time last month at an event at Nissan headquarters.
DETROIT: Conde Nast Publications held its eighth annual fashion show, hosted by Vogue and Architectural Digest, at the Adcraft Club of Detroit. The runway featured adfolk Mark Gjovik, exec VP-group account director, D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, and Karen Ritchie, exec VP-managing director, General Motors' Mediaworks.
