NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- PepsiCo today named executives to lead the new PepsiCo Beverages and Foods North America division, which combines Pepsi-Cola, Gatorade, Tropicana and Quaker Foods in the U.S. and Canada.

Exec changes
Dawn Hudson, 44, former senior vice president of strategy and marketing for Pepsi-Cola North America, becomes that unit's president. Jim Dwyer, 43, has been named president of Tropicana North America, replacing Brock Leach, who will now lead new special development projects at PepsiCo, including those focused on health and well-being. Mr. Dwyer previously served as PepsiCo's senior vice president of merger integration.

Finally, Al Carey, 50, has been named chief operating officer of the new division to oversee sales teams for Quaker, Tropicana and Pepsi-Cola and lead the ongoing "Power of One" initiatives between beverages and snacks.

PepsiCo earlier in the week announced that Gary Rodkin, 50, former president-CEO of Pepsi-Cola, would become president-CEO of the newly created division.
