NEW YORK: Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners' co-chairmen were honored by the Starlight Children's Foundation earlier this month for their pro-bono ad campaign for the organization benefitting seriously ill children. NEW YORK: U.S. advertising and marketing executives met at the Omni Berkshire Place hotel for final judging of the 30th annual Effie Awards for effective advertising campaigns, which will be presented June 3. CHICAGO: The Chicago Magazine Association held its annual media panel luncheon at the Westin River North Hotel. LOS ANGELES: The Western States Advertising Agencies Association recently named Lee Clow (r.) its leader of the year, a repeat performance for the chairman of TBWA Chiat/Day, who also won the award in 1984.
