Publicis Worldwide Names Olivier Altmann Chief Creative Officer

Publicis Worldwide has elevated Olivier Altmann from executive creative director, Publicis Conseil, to the newly created position of chief creative officer of Publicis Worldwide. Mr. Altmann has produced creative work for clients such as Orange, BMW, McDonald's and Nestlé. A co-founder of TBWA agency BBDP & Fils, in 2005 he was appointed co-chairman and chief creative director of Publicis Conseil. As a copywriter and creative director, he has won over 200 awards, including Cannes Lions, Clio Golds, One Show and Eurobest honors. Mr. Altmann has also served as president of Eurobest and has sat on the jury at Cannes, D&AD, and the Clios.

Global brand-communications agency Imagination has hired Rita Rodriguez as CEO for the Americas, based in Imagination's New York office. Ms. Rodriguez most recently served as the U.S. CEO of global brand agency The Brand Union, which she joined in 2004 as managing director of brand strategy. Prior to her time at The Brand Union, she led the corporate-branding practice of Interbrand as managing director, and before that served as business strategist at Merkley Newman Harty. She has also held a number of senior marketing roles at AT&T both in the U.S. and globally.

Style-discovery platform StyleCaster has added Dan Lagani to its team of advisors. Mr. Lagani was formerly president of the Fairchild Fashion Group, a division of Condé Nast. While leading Fairchild, he launched a digital and global expansion and realigned the company's print, online, conference, trade show and educational businesses into a single unit. In addition to the re-launch of WWD.com, he launched FashionCareers.com, WWDMens and WWDChina, and built alliances with companies including JC Penney, M.A.C. Cosmetics, IMG and Bravo Networks.

Betawave, a brand advertising network, has named Mark Oltarsh its new chief revenue officer. Mr. Oltarsh will be responsible for organizing Betawave's sales force and introducing Betawave's products and publishers to untapped brand marketers and agencies. Previously, he was VP-group publisher of Bauer Publishing's In Touch Weekly and Life & Style magazines. He brings to the post more than 10 years of sales and revenue experience, particularly in the publishing world, at other titles including Conde Nast's Details and Vanity Fair, and Dennis Publishing's Stuff and Maxim.

ClickSquared has appointed Dan Smith as senior VP-marketing. Before joining ClickSquared, Mr. Smith was VP-channel development at Unica, a provider of enterprise-marketing management. Before its acquisition by Unica, he was the chief marketing officer at MarketSoft, where he was responsible for product and corporate marketing, business development, demand generation and channel sales. Earlier in his career, Mr. Smith held senior positions at Pegasystems, M&T Bank and Chemical Bank. ClickSquared is an interactive relationship marketing firm that develops and executes growth and loyalty programs for brands such as Aramark, the Boston Celtics, Comcast and Dr Pepper/7 Up.

Rich-media advertising provider PointRoll has promoted Rob Gatto to senior VP-sales. He previously led sales and client services teams for PointRoll subsidiary ShopLocal. Under Mr. Gatto, the PointRoll and ShopLocal sales teams will be aligned. Prior to joining ShopLocal, he held various sales executive positions at financial-analytics software company Hyperion Solutions, and SPSS Inc., a provider of predictive analytics and data-mining software.
