Raymond J. Hornak has been named president of the Catevo Group. For more than two decades, he helped lead Catevo and its predecessor Epley Associates in operations, client service and team development, and he oversaw the merger of three organizations to form Catevo, an integrated marketing communications firm.
Suzanna Skop has joined BabyCenter as VP-sales. She comes to the company from MySpace, where she was VP-sales for the Northeast region. Prior to joining MySpace, Ms. Skop served as the New York district sales manager for Microsoft's MSN division, where she led a team focused on selling to companies in consumer package goods, pharmaceutical and retail categories.
BET Networks tapped Brandon Lucas as VP and general manager of BET Mobile. Mr. Lucas will be responsible for driving the wireless business' strategy and partnerships for BET Networks as well as overseeing the expansion and development of the BET Mobile division. Mr. Lucas was most recently executive director of business development at MySpace.
Online-advertising platform Clickable has hired Dave Fall as senior VP-product and operations. Prior to Clickable, Mr. Fall spent 11 years in senior technical, product and managerial roles at DoubleClick and then Google, following its acquisition of DoubleClick. Most recently, he was group product manager in charge of search-engine marketing technology.
Turn Inc., also a digital advertising platform, announced the selection of Masroor Malik to fill the newly created role of VP-business operations. During his previous four-year tenure at Efficient Frontier, Mr. Malik created and led the company's strategy, analytics, product operations and services organizations. He has also held senior and executive management positions at Yahoo in its advertising marketplaces group.
The Direct Marketing Association has added Tom Shimko as senior VP-CMO, and Lee Shufro as VP-sales. Most recently, Mr. Shimko was VP-strategic marketing for GE Capital's equipment financial-services business, where he led the strategic planning and customer experience areas. Prior to that role, he was CMO for Danbury Health Systems. Mr. Shufro comes to the DMA from American Express, where he was VP-everyday spend.
Jay Sterin joined Triton Digital as VP-interactive business development. A division of Triton Media, Triton Digital provides a national network of audio, video, display and loyalty rewards programs for advertisers. Mr. Sterin was recently with Navteq Media Solutions, now owned by Nokia, where he headed sales for the traffic.com brand.
