Revolucion Founder Alberto Rodriguez Dies at 40

Industry Vet Was Partner and Chief Creative of Hispanic Agency

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Alberto Rodriguez, 40, founder of U.S. Hispanic ad agency Revolucion, died suddenly of a heart attack at his New York City home on March 15.

Mr. Rodriguez was partner and chief creative officer of the New York-based independent agency he opened in 2000 with his friend Federico Mejer. He got his start in advertising, and met Mr. Mejer, when the two men worked at Vidal, Reynardus & Moya, a forerunner of the Vidal Partnership.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife Tre Miller-Rodriguez; mother and stepfather Hilda and Hector Gasca; and sister Barbara Macina.

A viewing will be held on March 20 at the Greenwich Village Funeral Home, and a funeral service will take place on March 21 at the First Presbyterian Church. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home at 199 Bleecker Street and donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
