Second Day of Moves for Omnicom Network

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- TBWA Worldwide continues to make changes to its management ranks.

The Omnicom Group advertising network announced it has promoted Tom Carroll, now president of the Americas, to vice chairman of TBWA. Mr. Carroll will take charge of worldwide business development and growth initiatives. He will continue to report to Jean-Marie Dru, president and CEO of TBWA Worldwide.

The move comes one day after the agency hired Brett Gosper away from Interpublic Group of Cos.' McCann Erickson to become president of TBWA New York Group, a new post. Mr. Gosper, who begins in early September, will report to Mr. Dru.

Shona Seifert remains president of the New York office of TBWA/Chiat/Day and will report to Mr. Gosper.

Also, Robert LePlae, president of TBWA/Chiat/Day, Los Angeles, will now report to Mr. Dru as a member of the Worldwide Operating Group.
