She will oversee production for East Coast clients including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Fox Sports 1, Realtor and New Era. Ms. Teague brings over 14 years of global production experience working with brands. Her range includes everything from Super Bowl spots to animation projects to social causes. Her agency experience includes production posts at Translation and Y&R New York. She has been a contributing partner and judge with the Tribeca Film Festival, AICP, AICE and Clios award shows.
Wendy's has named Brandon Solano as the new senior VP-marketing. He will lead the company's brand marketing efforts. Prior to joining Wendy's, Mr. Solano served three years as VP-franchise development at Domino's. He also previously served as the marketing director for the Hershey Company, where he led marketing and product innovation for the brand as well as Hispanic marketing.
Christina Miller has been named president and general manager of Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang. She will be responsible for leading the business in North America and working closely with Turner International to establish short- and long-term priorities as well as an overall worldwide strategic plan that will more closely align the kids business. Prior to this role, Ms. Miller served as the general manager of NBA Digital and the senior VP of Turner Sports strategy/marketing/programming. Before joining Turner, she was the senior VP of HIT Entertainment.
Fox News Channel has promoted Sam Moser to VP-national sales and marketing. He'll oversee advertising sales in Chicago, Detroit, Dallas and Los Angeles, while also supervising the sales staff in each region. Additionally, Mr. Moser will have a key role in all of the channels' sales-marketing efforts. Prior to joining Fox, Mr. Moser served as VP-advertising sales in the southwest and western regions for the Game Show Network.
Pablo Walker has been named the president of McCann Worldgroup Europe. In his 20-plus years with McCann, Mr. Walker helped the company's agencies succeed by expanding their range of capabilities and building a culture based on collaboration and results. Fernando Fascioli has also been promoted to president of McCann Worldgroup Latin America and Caribbean. He worked for many years at McCann Peru, became CEO and then took on additional responsibility as the region's chief growth officer.
TotallyHer Media has hired Amina Akhtar as theFashionSpot's editorial director. In this newly created position, Ms. Akhtar will oversee content for the fashion website as well as a staff of editors and contributors for beauty, fashion and social media. She brings over 15 years of experience in fashion media to her position. Her most recent role was at Vogue where she was the digital editions editor. Prior to that, she served as the executive editor for Elle.com.
