NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- In her first major move as chairman-CEO of AOL Time Warner's Time Inc., Ann Moore reassigned her former responsibilities and promoted two key executives.
Nora McAniff, who had been
president of the People Group, replaces Ms. Moore as executive vice president of Time Inc. Ms. McAniff will oversee the monthlies In Style
and Real Simple
as well as the Parenting Group titles, such as Parenting
and Baby Talk,
and Time Inc.'s partnership with Essence. Ms. McAniff will retain oversight of the People Group's titles as well, which include People, Teen People
and People en Espanol.
In addition, John Squires, who had been president of Entertainment Weekly, was promoted to executive vice president with broader responsibilities for consumer marketing and Time Inc.'s relationship with AOL. Entertainment Weekly will continue to report to Mr. Squires.
Ms. Moore's oversight of Time magazine will now be handled by Executive Vice President Mike Klingensmith.
Ms. Moore was on vacation and could not be reached for comment.
