Dana Anderson Named President and CEO of Omnicom Agency

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- DDB Chicago poached the top executive from its crosstown rival to lead the agency.

Dana Anderson, president and CEO of Interpublic Group of Cos.' Foote Cone & Belding, will take the same role at DDB, part of Omnicom Group. Ms. Anderson, 49, will report to Bob Scarpelli, chairman of the Chicago office and U.S. chief creative officer.

Ms. Anderson will join the agency May 3. She succeeds Ray Gillette, 55, who becomes president of Downtown Partners DDB, also in Chicago. Mr. Gillette was president of DDB Chicago.

In addition, Pat Dermody, 47, becomes president of integrated services for DDB's domestic operation, from president of integration of DDB Chicago. She will report to Dick Rogers, president of DDB North America.
