Natalie Perkins Leaves, Successor Sought

By Published on .

CHICAGO (AdAge.com) -- Natalie Perkins, president of Trone Advertising, Greensboro, N.C., has resigned.

"Evidently she wants to pursue other things," said Lee Trone, the shop's chairman-CEO. "Other than that I can't say."

Ms. Perkins in May 2000 was elevated to president from executive vice president-director of client services, where she managed the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. account for six years, in addition to other clients.

Until the agency names a successor, Mr. Trone will take a more active role in day-to-day management.

Executives close to the agency said Mike Fox, executive vice president-director of account management, is a likely contender for the now vacant post.

Ms. Perkins was not immediately available for comment.
