NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Gannett Co. today named a new president and publisher for its national daily newspaper USA Today.

Mr. Moon joined Gannett in 1985 as vice president for advertising of The Cincinnati Enquirer and The Cincinnati Post, and until last year was president and publisher of The Tennessean. He will report to Douglas H. McCorkindale, chairman and president-CEO of Gannett.
