Wunderman has appointed Mark Russell president of Wunderman, Toronto, as well as managing director of a newly created central region of Blast Radius' presence in Dearborn, Chicago and Toronto. Mr. Russell will play a central role in business development, and serve as senior counsel to existing clients such as Microsoft Canada, Kraft and Ford of Canada. Prior to joining the Toronto office, Mr. Russell served as managing director of direct, digital and marketing sciences for joint venture Team Detroit (Wunderman, JWT, Y&R, Ogilvy and Mindshare), building enterprise-wide digital work for Ford, Lincoln Mercury, Ford's customer-service division and Ford Credit.
PeekYou, a people search engine, has tapped Eric Ludwig as president-chief operating officer. Mr. Ludwig brings over 15 years of experience in technology commercialization and marketing to the company, and will be tasked with developing new tools and applications for its social search and reputation-management platform. Before joining PeekYou, Mr. Ludwig was the director of AOL's search-engine-marketing. He previously led AOL's renewal-and-payment marketing team.
Doner has hired Michael Reneau as senior VP-general manager of Doner, Canada. He joins Doner from Octane, Toronto, Canada, where he was VP-business development. Mr. Reneau is a marketing veteran of more than 20 years and has worked on brands such as KitchenAid, Toyota Canada, Christian Children's Fund of Canada, Jaguar & Land Rover Canada and Carlsberg Canada.
Josh Feldman was promoted to senior VP-ad sales at Cartoon Network. Previously, Mr. Feldman was VP and New York sales manager for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. In his new role, he will expand his responsibilities to include management of the Cartoon Network national offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles. Mr. Feldman began his sales career with Turner Broadcasting and worked as an account executive for sister networks TBS and TNT before moving over to the animation business.
Ryan Jamboretz has joined TidalTV as chief media and development officer. Mr. Jamboretz comes to the online video-advertising and -technology provider from Group M, where he was director-corporate development. His career also includes stints at Leo Burnett, London, where he was VP-global communications director, and Leo Burnett China, where he led a team charged with driving the expansion of McDonald's through China. Mr. Jamboretz's hire follows the promotion of Tom McMahon from chief revenue officer to president, a new role at the company. Additionally, Kevin Haley was promoted from VP- research and development to chief scientist.
Bunchball has named Hongpei Zhang senior VP-data and analytics. She previously spent seven years at Yahoo in senior roles involving running sales and marketing insights. Ms. Zhang will be charged with leading and growing Bunchball Analytics, a new reporting and analytical system recently introduced by the marketing technology company.
Posterscope, an out-of-home communications agency network, has moved James Davies, who currently runs its Hyperspace innovations division in the U.K., into an additional role as exec VP-strategic development in America. Mr. Davies will combine both roles, commuting between Posterscope's London and New York offices. The appointment follows the recent partnership struck between Posterscope and MPG's Chrysalis division in the US. MR. Davies's new role will include establishing new tools and research initiatives in the U.S. He will also be charged with developing new digital initiatives, such as introducing Prism Screen, an audience measurement and planning tool for digital screens.
