Mike Dolan Takes on Global Business Development Duties

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Patricia A. Doyle, executive vice president of global market development at WPP Group's Y&R Advertising, has left the company, executives for the agency confirmed.

Mike Dolan, chairman and chief executive officer of WPP's Young & Rubicam, parent of Y&R Advertising, will assume Ms. Doyle's responsibilities for developing the agency's new business possibilities.

second instance in which Mr. Dolan picks up responsibilities formerly held by a departing executive. In November 2001, Mr. Dolan took on the duties and titles of chairman and chief executive officer of Y&R Advertising. The post had been held by Ed Vick, who retired.

Ms. Doyle joined Y&R in early 2000 from the former Ammirati Puris Lintas, which merged with Lowe & Partners in October 1999.
