Omnicom Group, New York, through its Diversified Agency Services unit, will acquire M/A/R/C, Irving, Texas, an integrated marketing services company. M/A/R/C operates in two core businesses, brand marketing research and customer relationship management.
Bass Hotels & Resorts will step up efforts to introduce potential customers to its Priority Club and to reward its current frequent-stay members. Under the direction of Draft Worldwide, Chicago, the company has introduced a new loyalty kit, redesigned hotel materials and is running a print campaign for its Priority Club Worldwide. The loyalty kits, which include newsletters and club award guides, began mailing Oct. 1 to Priority Club members who have stayed eight nights at any of the Bass properties. Three print ads describe member rewards and list an 800-number for enrollment, and will appear in October issues of magazines such as Money and PC Computing.
