Hearst Magazines launches its first-ever "All American Weekend" Oct. 15-17 in Newport, R.I., for readers of several of its upscale titles. Included is a jazz performance hosted by Esquire, a fashion brunch hosted by Harper's Bazaar, VIP tours of private residences courtesy of House Beautiful, a regatta hosted by Motor Boating & Sailing, a wine tasting from SmartMoney, mansion tours from Town & Country and cooking demonstrations from Victoria. Subscribers were invited, but the event also is open to the public; tickets are $150 per person.

Tommy Hilfiger this month launched a 37-day style tour promoting the new Tommy Hilfiger Color cosmetics collection, hitting popular public locations in Boston, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington through Oct. 7. The Tommy Hilfiger Color National Street Team will demonstrate products and give away samples at concerts, nightclubs, sporting events and stores.
