Former Turner executive buys ad rep company
Richy Glassberg has purchased ad sales company Omni-Net, for which he had been president-CEO, and has formed Phase2Media, an Internet ad rep firm. Phase2Media has partnered with NetGravity to use its AdCenter service for ad management and serving. The service will launch in May. Mr. Glassberg was formerly senior VP-general manager of Turner Interactive Sales.
History Channel debuts campaign
The History Channel today launches an online campaign for the first episode of "The Century: America's Time" documentary. The campaign will run today only on more than 100 DoubleClick network sites. Spending was not disclosed.
