Ad Age Elevates Zmuda; Taps Event-Content Editor

A New Reporter Covering East-Coast Creative Agencies Has Also Joined the Team

Ad Age is pleased to announce the following personnel moves: Natalie Zmuda has been promoted to deputy managing editor of Ad Age. Natalie joined Ad Age as a reporter in 2008 after five years covering retail and fashion at Condé Nast. At Ad Age, she has covered retail and beverages, adding oversight of CMO strategy coverage in 2011. For the past two years, Natalie has led programming for the Marketing + Technology Summit at Internet Week and the CMO Strategy Summit.

Karen Edelman will join the Ad Age team as senior editor of event content on Aug. 4. She will oversee speaker programming for all Ad Age conferences and Internet Week events and help guide the editorial vision for all events. Karen ran a consulting firm for the past 10 years, programming events such as the Forbes Executive Women's Forum and the Fortune Innovation Forum.

Malika Toure has joined Ad Age as a reporter, covering East Coast creative agencies. Malika interned at Ad Age and sibling publication Creativity during the summer of 2013. She will continue to make contributions to Creativity. Malika has dual French and Senegalese citizenship. She has a bachelor's and master's degree in journalism from New York University.
