Average commute for U.S. workers takes 25.1 minutes, according to new Census data. The metro area with the longest commute-nearly 40 minutes-is around the southern-New Jersey community of Vineland. Los Angeles ranks below New York and Chicago.



The AdMarket 50 over the past year rose 5.6%. But factor in dividends reinvested in index stocks, and the total return rises to 8.2%. AdMarket's current average dividend yield-annualized dividends divided by stock price-is 2.3%; 42 of 50 stocks pay out a cash dividend.
