Because of an editing issue, last week's story on energy costs, "Sales Drop Looms as Energy Prices Continue to Soar," (AA, Aug. 7) incorrectly said a boost in oil prices to $100 from $75 a barrel would push gas to $4-$5 a gallon. Oil at $100 a barrel would translate to gas at about $3.60 a gallon; each $1 increase in a barrel correlates to about a 2.4› increase in a gallon of gas.

In "40 Under 40" (AA, Aug. 7), Jose Rodriguez, VP-marketing of OTC pharmaceuticals, Novartis, was incorrectly listed as John Rodriguez.
