And the games range from fantasy football to "sauceball" (eliminate all the salsa from your kitchen because McDonald's spicy chicken makes it unnecessary).

Conill created a whole online world, called Mundo Yaris, revolving around music and film for the young bilingual or English-speaking Hispanics who were the main target for Toyota's new Yaris. At mundoyaris.com, visitors create their avatar, then are free to roam through the virtual city and start a band and record music, make films, visit chat rooms, write blogs, and, of course, check out the car showroom.

ART BASEL INVITATION

As the website loads, colorful stick figures run into a wall, splashing it with paint that others come and admire as art. Once loaded, the site is an invitation to a reception at La Comunidad's future offices, still an unrenovated warehouse, where three artists created large installations as part of the Art Basel fair in Miami. One artist's work is made entirely from Puma footwear.

To add Hispanic viral marketing to Sprint's marketing mix, Vidal created a replica in Second Life of the real-life Sprint Center about to open in Kansas City, Mo. That presence leveraged Sprint's sponsorship of Concierto Clandestino, a series of real concerts performed by leading Latin artists as part of a reality show in which ordinary people vied to become concert promoters.

A series of online banners demonstrates that Hyundai cars inspire such great respect that those feelings go beyond people and are shared by nature, other cars and even aliens. A tornado whisks away everything in its path except a Hyundai. In another banner, an alien spaceship destroys all the cars it comes across but leaves the Hyundai untouched.
