AWARDS: Outdoor Kudos On Target

On May 24 at the Hilton Chicago Hotel, the Outdoor Advertising Association of America held its 63rd annual Obie Awards. Best of Show honors went to Peterson Milla Hooks, Minneapolis, for its Target billboards, which dominated the Retail category. Peterson won again for Target in the Special F/X category with its 3-D billboards, one of which is leading this showcase of winning Target work. Also in the Special F/X category, Crispin Porter + Bogusky won for "Neon XXS" for Mini Cooper. CP+B took an additional three Automotive Obies for its Mini work, while Leo Burnett won two Obies, one for a U.S. Army billboard and another for McDonald's. See www.oaaa.org for more.
