OUTDOOR: The Sunset Strip/Times Square Billboard Awards

The Billboard of the Year honor at last week's seventh annual Sunset Strip/Times Square Billboard Awards, held at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, was bagged, so to speak, by Showtime's "Weeds" board, from Showtime/The Red Group and Starcom. The Tall Wall of the Year was handed to the Gap's "Glove Tree," from Starcom. Entries, in a host of categories spanning billboards and tall walls on both coasts, were judged by a panel that included executives from Ogilvy & Mather, MacDonald Media, McCann Erickson, OMG, Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks, House of Blues Entertainment and the Times Square Alliance.
