On April 8, the AIGA New York's Small Talks series will present Ayse Birsel. "Born in Izmir, Turkey, Birsel came to New York to attend Pratt as a Fulbright Scholar. His firm, Olive 1:1, turns the expected on end. Some results: a reinvented cubicle for Herman Miller, and, for Toto Japan, a reinterpreted toilet seat." Stock house Creatas and the Art Directors Club announce "The Big Brand Theory," a series of April half-day seminars scheduled for the 8th in Chicago, the 22nd in New York and the 29th in Los Angeles.
