Through May 15, Culver City, Calif., visual effects company Zoic Studios (www.zoicstudios.com) is hosting an exhibition featuring the work of photographer Simon Wakelin, mixed-media artist Kyle Cummings and painter Adrienne Tararin. This is the latest in a series of shows at Zoic devoted to "rising stars in the art world, many with ties to the advertising industry," explains head of sales Elexis Stearn. Besides being a hit with Zoic clients and staff, "who appreciate the ever-changing aesthetic," the exhibitions have also "been embraced by the art community, which has a commission-free venue to show work to new and established audiences," says Stearn. We open with a work by Kyle Cummings (www.seekyledraw.com). The PDF includes an Adrienne Tararin (www.tararin.com) piece called "Fusion," and two Simon Wakelin (www.simonwakelin.com) photographs.
