Duffy Worldwide, which had been the design arm of Minneapolis-based Fallon Worldwide, has announced that it will spin off to become an independent entity, changing its name to Duffy & Partners. The three principal partners will be chairman Joe Duffy and co-managing partners Tricia Davidson and Eric Block. Duffy & Partners will launch in a new Minneapolis location, and previously branded Duffy operations in New York, Singapore and London will be absorbed into Fallon operations in their respective markets. "We have enjoyed a productive and rewarding 20-year partnership with Fallon Worldwide," said Joe Duffy, "but we agree that the best way to serve our clients and grow our company is to move forward independently." Pat Fallon, chairman of Fallon Worldwide, added, "Joe Duffy is my lifelong friend and will remain so. We will still partner on shared client business and work together whenever possible. But we agree the best way for Duffy to prosper is as a stand-alone company."
