AM Radio, a Washington D.C.-based art collective, has created a series of murals seen in various Philly bars and clubs, keyed to Heineken's Red Star Soul concert series, which features a Sept. 12 gig at Philadelphia's Theater for the Living Arts. As is always the case with AM Radio, explains marketing director Gerald Watson, all art is created to the beat of the crew's DJ before a live audience. The Philadelphia Red Star Soul Art project was produced in conjunction with Alloy Marketing and Heineken's local distributor, Origlio Beverage. See mbilashaka.com/amradio for more on the collective and click here for more on Heineken's Red Star Soul series.
