Among the top-selling new fonts found at MyFonts (www.myfonts.com
) are Satisfaction, Felt Tip Roman, Great Circus and Nars. The latter two are new releases from the Misprinted Type series, experimental fonts designed by Brazil's Eduardo Recife. Felt Tip Roman (seen here also in the "Panem" display), according to MyFonts, is used as Hagrid's handwriting in the U.S. editions of the Harry Potter
books. Felt Tip Roman "began as an experiment, in 1989, as a straight adaptation of designer Mark Simonson's handwriting. The bold and heavy weights were added in 2003 to broaden the usefulness of this very popular typeface." Satisfaction, "a casual vintage script font developed from hand-lettered words in various 1930s cigarette ads," was designed last year by Andrew Leman, as part of the E-phemera font family.
