PAPER PROMOTIONS: Doyald Young's Smart Art

Published on .

Art of the Logo
Noted designer Doyald Young, Smart Papers and the American Institute of Graphic Artists have collaborated on quite the cool paper promotion: a rather elegant, if spiral-bound, 96-page book on branding, logo design and typography, free to graphics professionals who attend one of the 25-city AIGA-sponsored speaking engagements featuring Young. Most of the contents of The Art of the Letter are taken from Young's books Logotypes & Letterforms and Fonts & Logos; seen here are some of the featured logos, credits below. The events continue through 2004; see www.aiga.com and www.smartpapers.com for more.
