PHOTOGRAPHY: Promo Campaign of the Week

Published on .

A Williams Tango
Raleigh, N.C.-based veteran photog Jimmy Williams (www.jwproductions.com), who's shot ads for Folgers, Wrangler, Bally's and many others, recently launched one of the most engaging mail promos we've seen of late: Eight black-and-white, suitable-for-framing-type cards whose cumulative effect makes a sort of wistful magic. As Williams says, "Some of the images were created as part of an assignment — scripted and meticulously planned. Others were instinctive — spontaneously captured as the action unfolded. Regardless of their roots, they all share a common stem: a subjective narrative rich with promise and possibility." It's more than hype. Credits to designer D.J. Griffin and producers Jennifer Tomassi and Dorothy Howard.
