Yup, we're looking to showcase spec print/design now and again, and here's to Jack McGoldrick, who kicks off the PrintCritic Spec Deck with these elegantly ridiculous Sapporo beer ads. The New York-based McGoldrick, jackmcgoldrick@mac.com , a freelance copywriter, is a 10-year agency vet who's worked at Vigilante, Uniworld, Grey and DMB&B. "The campaign is the result of an attempt in late 2003 to pitch Sapporo," he says with a freelancer's stoicism. The resourceful McGoldrick wore two hats here, pulling pictures off the web and doing his own Photoshopping. Have you got spec print/design you want to show off?
