Artist/illustrator/toy designer Tristan Eaton of New York's Thunderdog Studios has created a series of rights-managed works available for licensing exclusively at Corbis. In addition, "in the spirit of collaboration and creative freedom," as the company puts it, Corbis has invited Eaton to play with some of its royalty-free images, and the results of this exploration can be seen online during the ongoing Corbis "Feel Free" promotion. Moreover, to celebrate this collaboration, Corbis commissioned Eaton to create a series of four limited-edition silkscreen prints on metal. Through Nov. 30, customers who spend $450 on any combination of royalty-free images and CDs will receive one of the prints, the last of which will be released on Nov. 14. Seen here are some images from Eaton's rights-managed Corbis collection as well as one of the silkscreen prints (#7 in the PDF), all courtesy Thunderdog/Corbis. Click here for more info.
