The Traveling Picture Show Company has signed director Jeannette Godoy for exclusive representation. Having started her career as a choreographer, she moved into directing and has worked with companies such as Zest, NHL team the Phoenix Coyotes, Gannett and Nike, and collaborated with agencies like Barkley, Cramer Krasselt and Partners & Napier. TSPC will premiere her documentary film "Free 2 Be Me" at the Newport Beach Film Festival on April 27. The documentary tells the story of an adaptive dance program for kids and young adults with Down syndrome.
Anonymous Content has announced a partnership with French production company Iconoclast. Anonymous will represent Iconoclast's roster of directors in the U.S., and Iconoclast will represent the Anonymous roster in France. Iconoclast's directors include Romain Gavras, Yoann Lemoine, Megaforce, We Are From L.A., Gustav Johansson and Gus Van Sant, while Anonymous represents talent including Alfonso Cuaron, Alejandro G. Inarritu, Mark Romanek and Malcolm Venville.
New York-based production company MassMarket has hired Robert Moggach as creative director. Moggach has worked at a number of studios in England and the U.S. including The Mill, Digital Domain, Method Studios, Asylum Visual Eﬀects and Dashing Collective, which he founded in 2010. He has collaborated on projects including commercials, music videos and feature films with directors such as Dante Ariola, Mark Romanek, Michael Bay, Brian Beletic, Oliver Stone, Tom Kuntz, Ridley Scott, Rupert Sanders, Steven Spielberg and Guy Ritchie.
Madheart has signed director Joshua Traywick for exclusive national representation. The agreement marks Traywick's first formal affiliation with a commercial production company. The director's latest work, a Mother's Day ad for Hallmark, breaks nationally this month. Traywick, who trained at USC Film School and then worked in production at Anonymous Content, has also directed projects for Reebok and Match.com.
Toronto-based digital production and design company, Jam3, has made two new hires: Isaac Garcia as senior interactive designer and Adam Romano as interactive designer. Garcia was most recently a creative lead at 2Advanced Studios, Calif., working on brands like Lexus, Disney and Toyota. Prior to that he was associate creative director at Ignition Interactive, Calif. and also spent five years at Ottawa-based Fuel Industries. Romano joins from Toronto-based digital creative agency, Playground, where he was an art director. Recent projects included the launch for extreme weather gear brand, Canada Goose as well as the new look for the grammys.ca website.
Superlounge has signed director Ben Tedesco for exclusive U.S. spot representation. Tedesco's work includes Chevy Volt's "Spaceship" experiment as well as specs for Campbell's, BP, Dodge and Doritos. He has spent nearly a decade in production working for directors like Zack Snyder and Jeff Cronenweth.
Carbon VFX has hired Marlo Baird Kinsey as executive producer in Los Angeles. Kinsey joins from her most recent production role at The Mission and will oversee all aspects of production in Carbon's L.A. office, including bidding for visual effects, CG, motion graphics, color correction and finishing. Previous to Carbon she was a freelance producer for a number of visual effects studios, production companies, television networks and editorial collectives, working on international campaigns for clients including VW, Nike, and Samsung.
Eric Mueller has joined Minnesota-based design, animation and VFX company Gasket Studios as executive producer. Mueller has produced spots for General Mills and Cheerios, McDonald's, Sony PlayStation and Mayo Clinic, as well as an underground-style branded film for Subaru. He has held EP roles at a number of Midwest studios including motion504 and Splice Here, working with such clients as Target, Best Buy, Deloitte, Greenpeace, Syfy, BBC and National Geographic. Mueller also previously served as the director of production at the Minnesota Film Board.
