The agency continues to do stylish work for a prominent challenger brand, Virgin America. To assist with the airline's positioning as an entertainment brand that's incidentally in travel, Eleven developed a digital campaign with substantial out-of-home elements to highlight in-cabin amenities like WiFi and on-demand movies. It integrated the social streams of brand loyalists like Pandora co-founder Tim Westergen.
Virgin America passengers were also urged to tweet or Instagram photos with a branded hashtag. They were motivated by the prospect of those images appearing on Times Square interactive billboards.
During the life of the campaign, Virgin America saw a 20% increase in online flight bookings.
Eleven brought in $22.9 million in revenue in 2012 on $75.1 million in billings. The agency projects it will grow revenue to $26 million and billings to $98 million this year.Back
