Neither Philadelphia nor a mere two names on the door was quite enough for Red Tettemer O'Connell & Partners after another year of rapid growth.
So the 70-employee shop added Executive Creative Director Steve O'Connell name to the entrance, and an office in Venice, Calif. The latter move was largely to service key clients Fox Networks and the California Association of Realtors but also to tap into the growing Los Angeles agency market.
The expansion came after revenue increased 49% last year to $20.5 billion. The agency expects another 15% increase this year.
RTO& P counts Under Armour, Century 21 and Planet Fitness as key clients, too. Funny "Gymtimidation" TV ads for Planet Fitness and two consecutive years of Super Bowl ads for Century 21 have helped build the agency's creative reputation. But increasingly it focuses on building social-media communities and properties for brands such as "House of Fanitude" social hubs for each Fox sports property.Next: Crossmedia
