Empower MediaMarketing Gains Michaels Stores Media Account

Cincinnati-based Empower MediaMarketing has won the media planning and buying account for Michaels Stores, Inc.

Empower MediaMarketing announced earlier this week that it landed the account for the world's largest arts and crafts retailer after a review. In a statement, David Abelman, senior vp - marketing at Michaels Stores said: "We opted to partner with Empower MediaMarketing because of their strategic and creative approach to media planning. . . [Their] targeted, lifestyle-focused approach to media selection will enable our message to resonate more powerfully than ever before."
