Independent agency Blattner Brunner has landed the dealer co-op media account for Cub Cadet, rounding out their status of agency of record for the outdoor power equipment brand.
Blattner Brunner has been considered the AOR for Cub Cadet since May 2004. Their new assignment will have the agency planning and buying media for independent dealers of the manufacturer's equipment in more than 40 markets across the U.S.
In a statement released by Powell Communications on behalf of the agency, Matthew Rechin, VP-brands management for Cub Cadet's parent company MTD, said: "Market share for the Cub Cadet brand has increased 25 percent during the past two years due in large part to Blattner Brunner's strategic and creative efforts. They showed us that same level of strategic thinking during the co-op media review by presenting a highly innovative and integrated media program that we believe will help our independent dealers improve their performance in the marketplace."
